Easter Adventure

We took a short drive from home to explore a rocky cliff looking over the Atlantic Ocean. It was just us, the mountain goats, and the sea turtles.

Back home they don't have lunch specials like they do on St. Kitts.

Nevis Adventure 4-5-14

Today's adventure to Nevis started rough. It was rainy and the Atlantic waves made the ferry boat roll from side to side.  We were the only paying customers on the ferry.     We had a long list of stops to make.             The "Haunted" Ruins of the Eden-Browne Estate   The Nevis horse racing track is rather rundown, but uniquely sits next to the Atlantic Ocean.  It is overrun with feral donkeys.     I was able to man the betting counter. Sitting in the vacant grand stand eating our picnic lunch, we had a nice view of the island of Montserrat. Lime Kiln on the Ocean   Some black bellied sheep with sugar mill ruins. Two Oceans, One Stop.

Every visitor to St. Kitts must stop atop of Timothy Hill.  The Atlantic to the East, The Caribbean (technically as sea) to the West.  200 Yards between them. We drive by this spot about once a week and it never ceases to be awe inspiring.

A Cruise Ship in a Curious Place

On Sunday a cruise ship anchored off shore in a large cove nearby.  It was the most unusual location.  We had to go take a look.  I also tried out the panorama feature of my camera.
